Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The exam is conducted in online mode to provide admission to candidates in two-year B.Ed courses offered at the Colleges of Education in Telangana State.

Notification 24-Feb-2020 TSEdCET 2020 notification has been released on February 24.
Application process (without late fee) 27-Feb-2020 to 20-Apr-2020 TSEdCET 2020 application process is likely to start on February 24 and end on April 20.
Application process (with late fee of Rs 500) 27-Feb-2020 to 25-Apr-2020 The application process with late fee of Rs 500 will end on April 25.
Application process (with late fee of Rs 1,000) 27-Feb-2020 to 30-Apr-2020 The application process with a late fee of Rs 1,000 will end on April 30.
Application process (with late fee of Rs 2,000) 27-Feb-2020 to 04-May-2020 The application process with a late fee of Rs 2,000 will end on May 4.
Admit card/hall ticket 15-May-2020 TSEdCET admits cards will be available for download from May 15 onwards.
TSEdCET 2020 exam 23-May-2020 TSEdCET 2020 exam will be conducted on May 23 in two shifts – 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and 3:00-5:00 PM.
Result 11-Jun-2020 TSEdCET result 2020 will be announced on June 11.

TS EDCET  Eligibility

Criteria Needs
Age 19 years as on Jul 01, 2020
Qualifying exam UG / PG degree
Minimum marks in the qualifying exam – 50% in aggregate for BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BCA / BBM / BBA / Master’s degree holders
– 55% in aggregate for B.E / B.Tech in maths and science
– 40% in aggregate for SC/ ST/ BC candidates

TS EDCET 2020 Syllabus

TS EDCET 2020 Syllabus includes objective type questions on diverse topics such as English comprehension, Tense, Articles, General knowledge and so on. The syllabus for the entrance exam on the basis of three sections is tabulated below:

PART-A: General English Reading Comprehension
Correction of Sentences, Articles, Prepositions, Tenses, Spelling, Voice
Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms
Transformation of Sentences- Simple, Compound and Complex. Direct Speech and Indirect Speech
PART-B: General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude General Knowledge of the Environment and application to society.
Knowledge of Current Events, Everyday Observations, and Experiences in their Scientific outlook.
India and neighboring countries and questions related to History, Culture, Geography, Ecology, Economics, General Policy, and Scientific Research.
Teaching aptitude based questions on the ability to communicate, the ability to deal with Children, the ability to recognizing individual differences, analytical thinking and general intelligence.
PART-C: One of the following subjects to be selected: Mathematics
Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)
Biological Sciences (Botany and Zoology)
Social Studies (Geography, History, Civics, and Economics)
English [Special English in B.A.]

For English, the Syllabus of English will be based on various classes ranging from Class VIII to Class XII course.
