1. Candidate should be compulsory a graduate in B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with a minimum 50 percent of marks. For SC/ST/Differently Abled/BC candidates having at least 45 percent marks. And he/she should also pass in B.Ed/Bachelor of Education (Special Education). OR
2. The candidate should be 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed holder with a minimum percentage of 50%. 45 percent marks for BC/ Disabled/ SC/ ST candidates.
3. The applicant should be compulsory a graduate in Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects OR graduate in the literature OR Post Graduation in a Language OR Bachelor of Oriental Language. And, he/she should also require the LPT Certificate/ B.Ed in particular language as one of the methodologies on the basis of Language Teachers. Also, Check for Latest Govt Jobs at TS-teachers
4. The final year of B.Ed or D.El.Ed students etc. are also eligible to apply for TET exam. But they cannot appear for DSC with this TET certificate unless the candidates acquire the requisite qualification.

Weightage of TET Score:
TET score will carry 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment test. Balance 80% weightage will carry written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
